Fantasy Week 3 - More points across the club as 1s and 2s both win
Week 3 of the fantasy league finally saw all three teams in action, although the slightly one sided third team game means quite a few of their players have still yet to contribute major points this season. Significant contributions from some big name players for the first time this season has led to some sizable shifts in the league table, although there are some familiar players leading the MVP race.
The top four remain unchanged with Jacko moving up to top spot, but a big gap has opened up between the top 2 and the chasing pack. Below this, a cluster of teams sit within a couple of hundred points, most notably Dan Pownall who, led by the heroics from Neilon Joseph, moves from the bottom of the table to 10th place.
The bottom of the table, in an increasingly concerning trend, shows the three Saturday captains in the bottom 4 once again, with the two Yanna-led teams hovering in and around the same area despite the big man finally making it into positive points.
The MVP standings remain unchanged, but with Matt Wood a single boundary away from Shaun Little following another fine all-round performance this weekend. Despite Nelly putting in the best individual performance of the season, he still sits just behind Will Harries, with both players about 150 points back from Shaun Little. In the bowler standings, Jacko sits 1 point behind Pete White whilst there isn't a single batsman within 200 points of Matt Wood.
With the 1s getting their first win, the 2s flying high in their league and the third team finally off and running, all three sides will be hoping for the good weather to continue and some more solid points to be put on the board next weekend.
