The Prestigious Derby

Week 5 of the season again has come with low numbers, after months of being locked up who can blame anyone for trying to get away with the family. The first team travel to South Wilts with again a much changed side from last week last over loss to Andover, including what should be a long awaited debut for new signing Tom Mundy. The shrews hope to regain the form that saw them brush aside Saturday's opposition 3 weeks ago.

The 2nd team takes a break from league action to play our annual fixture against Twiston-Davies XI. A side made up of players from across the country. This normally involves lunch and tea but with current restrictions it will just be cricket. It promises to be an enjoyable game for all.

The Sunday side face ........ looking to bounce back from their defeat against a strong Durnford side last week. It’s a chance for the youngsters to take on a more prominent role in the side supported by some older and wiser heads.

Monday this week sees the return of the Wiltshire wallop, with the lads looking to keep up the good form in this competition from the past couple of seasons. They travel to Warminster in what should be a cracking game.
